Founded in 1989 by an individual with a passion for Medical Technology and related fields, Mr. Max León Gavilánez, B.S, MT opened Catachem Latin America and established its operations by distributing reagents for chemistry diagnosis servicing a small community of laboratories. Catachem Latin America counted on its strong network of medical technology and laboratory professionals across the island of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean to grow and develop into a reputable distributor of quality laboratory products, blood bank reagents and medical supplies.
Today with more than 20 years of experience and a solid reputation amongst medical technologists, laboratory & health professionals, Catachem Latin America continues to operate by adhering to cutting edge marketing practices and streamlined operations while maintaining traditional customer service. As of August 2010 Catachem Latin America operates with a refreshed staff under new management by Jason Max León, General Manager and son of our founder. Catachem Latin America continues to service a large group of professional organizations across the island of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
We are a family oriented business working with purpose and we look to serving the community by bringing quality products and services to the clients who in turn serve the public and other businesses. We look forward to servicing small laboratories across the island along with large medical health institutes ranging from hospitals to universities to government departments and organizations.
